Certifications
The SBA’s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) program is a designation for businesses owned and controlled by veterans, specifically Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). This certification verifies that a business meets the eligibility criteria to compete for exclusive federal contracting opportunities set aside for SDVOSBs, enabling them to gain a competitive edge in the government marketplace. By achieving SBA VetCert, businesses demonstrate their commitment to excellence and service while contributing to the economic growth of the veteran community.
AISC's certification programs set the quality standard for the structural steel industry and are the most recognized national quality certification program. The program's goal is to confirm to owners, the design community, the construction industry, and public officials that certified participants, who adhere to program criteria, have the personnel, organization, experience, documented procedures, knowledge, equipment, and commitment to quality to perform fabrication, manufacturing, and/or erection.
